I share this link because this situation happened probably to every system administrator: You open a console and it takes 30 seconds to several minutes to appear, with nearly all CPUs or cores being idle, and while on other servers with less CPUs or cores the console opens instantly.

While Bruce Dawson leads us to the one of the root cause of this behavior, the solution is still in Microsoft’s hands.

I just want to highlight the following part:

So it’s not just “24-core CPU and I can’t move my mouse” it’s “24-core CPU and therefore I can’t move my mouse.”

This problem has been reported to Microsoft and they are investigating.
